Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Receiving Clerk for our client. This role is responsible for receiving and shipping materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating a liquid propane forklift, and supporting warehouse logistics operations.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Responsible for receiving, checking, and recording incoming shipments of various materials and products.
• Receiving and shipping clerk must be detail-oriented, be very comfortable with computer inventory software, and have strong organizational skills.
• A sound candidate must be able to balance both shipping and receiving duties in a timely fashion.
• The clerk will scan and store shipping and receiving documents.
• The shipping and receiving assistant will have several years of liquid propane forklift experience.
• The shipping and receiving clerk will assist and support the shipping and receiving lead manager with assorted duties, as requested. A shipping and receiving worker are responsible for correctly processing and keeping records of all materials that he or she shipped and received within the company.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or post-secondary certificate required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of receiving experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of shipping experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of computer-based shipping, receiving, and inventory experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of liquid propane forklift experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within timeline-driven environments.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
