Human Sciences Nutrition Adjunct Professor

Position Summary: JCCC is looking for applicants for a part‑time faculty position in the Biology Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in The Science of Human Nutrition. One section will be taught face‑to‑face during the day, and one section will be taught as an evening class. All applications must be be submitted to the JCCC jobs portal. Required Qualifications: Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology, with emphasis on nutrition or nutrition‑related field. Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically. Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software. Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications. Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in human anatomy and physiology. One year of College-level teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer applicant to be a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). *Unofficial transcripts are required for all Adjunct faculty and Faculty positions.
