Job Title

Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay, Nights (4x12)

Location

Saint Louis, MO

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4x12-hour shifts | 48 hours weekly guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Provide care for a mixed adult patient population consisting of approximately 50% medical and 50% telemetry patients
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 on a telemetry unit utilizing EPIC EMR
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established nursing guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must be eligible for or currently licensed in the state of Missouri
• Minimum 2+ years of telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• NIHSS certification required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 – April 1
• Must be available for full week of orientation (night shift orients on day shift)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
