Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre- K Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programsin Quinton, NJ for the 2026-2027 school year.

LOCATION: Quinton Township Elementary School in Quinton, NJ

PAY RATE: $16.00 per hour

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE : SPLIT SHIFT

Morning Program hours vary between 6:45 - 8:30 am

Afternoon Program hours vary between 2:45 - 5:45 pm

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for children (ages 3-12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. Position Responsibilities

The Before and After School Program team is responsible for:

• Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks.
• Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues, along with a consistent record of reliability and punctuality.
