.NET / Power BI Developer

About the Opportunity: The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) are seeking an experienced .NET / Power BI Developer to support application development, business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, and modernization initiatives across the agency.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that improve data visibility, reporting capabilities, and internal applications used to support statewide operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
Design and build Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and visualizations.
Create data models, measures, and calculations using DAX and Power Query.
Develop APIs, integrations, and web-based business applications.
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
Support ETL processes, data transformation, reporting automation, and application modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot applications, reporting, database, and data quality issues.
Mentor junior developers and support technical documentation efforts.
