Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description

This position entails a balanced mix of CMM operation and quality technician functions. You will be responsible for loading parts into the CMM, executing the correct program, and comparing the results with blueprints. Additionally, you will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify parts against blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) by loading parts and selecting the correct program.

• Compare measurement results from CMM with blueprint specifications.

• Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet blueprint standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.

• Experience with CMM operations and quality inspections.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in metal stamping or metal fabrication is highly beneficial.

This is a Contract position based out of MOUNT STERLING, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
