• Number of Beds - 2 MRI scanners


• Number of Staff - 2 (normally 4)


• Type of staff:


• Day Shift- 2 techs, one on weekends


• Night Shift - call only

• Patient Ratios - n/a


• Type of equipment - GE (two 1.5T magnets)


• EMR - Meditech / Centricity

Typical hiring profile



Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.


• Minimum 6 months of current acute care MRI Tech experience


• ARRT (MR) & BLS



Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.


• Level II Trauma experience


• Experience with Cardiac MRI



List typical procedures performed on unit(s):


• All general MRI exams


• Frequent exams with anesthesia, patients with pacemakers or other cardiac devices

• On call policy: Every Monday night call and every 4th weekend
