DevOps EngineerThe DevOps Engineer is responsible for modernizing our integration, testing, and deployment systems. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently in a rapidly evolving technical environment. The ideal candidate will be someone with a hybrid developer/system administration background.Duties and Responsibilities:Help teams understand and exploit opportunities to advance technical practices and help them build and adopt DevOps practices to reach engineering goals fasterDesign, develop and support solutions which facilitate ease of service deployment, availability and operationsOwn and define CI/CD best practices and guide the deployment with a practical set of pipelinesHelp the team mature automated deployment and container utilization strategiesDevelop and maintain custom built applications used to provide integrationsWork with our Network Operations, Development and Technical Services teams to develop a practical cloud deployment strategyProvide objective insight to development team for driving down escalations, team efficiencies, and product uptimeOn call 24/7 The preceding functions are examples of the work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
