Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR

• First time travelers accepted

• On call requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM

• Call required: 1-2 weeknight and 1-2 weekend Friday-Monday shifts per month

• Must work with adult patients

• Technologist must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases

• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT

• Indiana license required and must be in hand prior to start date

• Experience required with procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies

• Must be experienced with Siemens single plane equipment, GE Elite portable C-arm required

• Experience with Cerner charting system required

• Level 1 trauma experience required

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

• Floating is 100% required - candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby

• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and runs equipment, other scrubs

• If call-ins occur, shifts must be made up during pay period or added to end of contract

Facility:

This major healthcare facility operates as a Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, and Level 1 stroke center providing comprehensive interventional radiology services. The facility features 4 IR rooms including 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms, plus 2 hybrid OR rooms with single plane Siemens c-arms and portable GE Elite C-arm equipment. The department handles complex vascular interventional and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions.
