Yard WorkerAs a Yard Worker, you will play a crucial role in preparing samples and display orders for trade shows. Your responsibilities will include picking and preparing orders, as well as operating a sit-down forklift. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, particularly flatbeds, and assisting in production as needed. The role requires outdoor yard work approximately 75% of the time.ResponsibilitiesPrepare samples and display orders for trade shows.Pick and prepare orders efficiently and accurately.Operate a sit-down forklift to assist in material handling.Load and unload trucks, specifically flatbeds, ensuring safety and accuracy.Assist in production tasks as needed.Perform outdoor yard work the majority of the time.Essential SkillsProficient in operating a sit-down forklift.Experience in general labor and material handling.Ability to work with power tools and hand tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to handle heavy lifting.Experienced in preparing orders and inventory management.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperienced in outdoor labor, construction, and landscaping.Ability to lift 50+ lbs with ease.Mechanically inclined with experience in loading and unloading trucks.Why Work Here?Join a team that values hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. The shift is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6 pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pen Argyl, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
