Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist – School-Based
Location: Thornton, CO
Type: LOA Contract (10 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week
Pay: $50/hr - $60/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist – School-Based for an exciting LOA Contract job in Thornton, CO.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students (K–8).

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.

• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.

• Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, psychologists, and parents.

• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.

• Support students with articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques appropriate for pediatric populations.

• Ensure compliance with school district policies and state educational guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

• Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility.

• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development.

• Ability to manage caseload and documentation independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification.

• Experience working in school-based settings.

• Previous experience in K–8 school environments.

• Familiarity with IEP development and special education regulations.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience working with diverse student populations.

• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs.
