Job Details Join the team of Emergency Medicine Physicians at Methodist Health System's state-of-the-art, brand-new Medical Center! Requirements: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine - now welcoming EM residents! Position Highlights: 30 ED patients per 24 hours; 16 emergency department beds, including 4 fast-track bays; 24/7 physician coverage with weekday 8-hour shifts and 12-hour weekend shifts (volume-dependent); Opportunity to rotate at two Methodist Richardson campuses. Practice in a collaborative environment with broad access to medical and surgical subspecialty consultation services; STEMI coverage 24/7; OB/L&D services. This 192,215-square-foot, four-story facility offers comprehensive medical and surgical services, including emergency care, intensive care, labor and delivery, advanced imaging, and state-of-the-art operating suites equipped for trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and robotic procedures. The hospital's upper floors house the ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Labor & Delivery units, with built-in capacity for future growth as demand increases. A rooftop helipad ensures rapid transport for critical cases, while the hospital's design supports seamless horizontal expansion for additional bed towers in the years ahead.
