Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid SLP license issued by the State of California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior school-based experience is essential
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and faculty
• Ability to independently manage a middle school caseload

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to middle school students on campus
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Serve as a resource for school staff regarding strategies to enhance student communication
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams

Role Details:

• Part-time: 3 days per week (Monday, Thursday, Friday)
• 6 hours per day, onsite at a welcoming middle school environment
• Contract position with immediate start through June 9, 2027
• Interview conducted via Zoom for your convenience
