In this role, you will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening medical conditions, utilizing advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and a patient-centered approach. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor critically ill patients Administer medications, including IV drips, vasopressors, and sedation, per physician orders Manage and monitor life-support equipment such as ventilators, CRRT, and cardiac monitors Interpret vital signs, lab results, and cardiac rhythms to identify changes in patient condition Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists Provide direct patient care, including hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and care plans Respond rapidly to emergencies, including code situations Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care experience in a hospital setting Strong clinical judgment, prioritization, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations Current and valid Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong clinical assessment skills, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
