The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and professional environment while managing administrative tasks that support the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately. - Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with facility security and infection control protocols. - Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting spaces as needed.

- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry. - Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

- Support other departments with administrative tasks as requested.

- Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

- Compassionate and professional demeanor, especially when interacting with elderly residents and their families.

Working Conditions :

- Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with residents and staff.

- May require occasional evening or weekend shifts.

- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
