Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services in the NICU, ensuring high-quality treatment for neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, extubation, and other respiratory interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if needed.
• Adhere to facility and state guidelines, ensuring compliance with all professional standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is required.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are mandatory.
• Must have 2 years of experience in a pediatric, neonatal, and infant setting.
• Knowledge and experience in the NICU and pediatric critical care settings required.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
• Possession of NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) licenses.
