Responsibilities

• Verify insurance for allergy benefits. Discuss out of pocket cost with the patient.
• Prepare patients for allergy testing and immunotherapy procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Administer allergy skin tests, injections, and other related treatments following established protocols
• Monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions and respond promptly to any emergencies
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including recording vital signs, test results, and treatment details in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Support administrative tasks such as patient intake, appointment scheduling, and updating medical records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and allergy clinic regulations

Experience

• Previous medical assisting or allergy clinic experience will set you apart
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), medical documentation, and medical records management is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant required.
