Manage the budgeting process, including the development of annual budgets and regular forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting. Coordinate the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations. Monitor cash flow and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for improvement. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Lead a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional development. Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure alignment with financial goals. Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic insights. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, with experience in preparing financial statements. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software used by Scarsellabros] is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
