CNC Operator - $30/HR

Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description The CNC Operator sets up and operates CNC equipment in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment to produce high-quality parts. This role involves reading and following detailed work instructions, loading and unloading parts, and performing finishing operations such as deburring, grinding, and sanding to meet strict quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC equipment according to production requirements and work instructions. Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions and production documentation in a manufacturing environment. Load raw material or parts into CNC machines and unload finished or semi-finished parts safely and efficiently. Monitor CNC machine operation to ensure parts meet specifications and production runs stay on schedule. Inspect finished products visually and with basic measuring tools to verify they meet quality and dimensional standards. Perform deburring, grinding, and sanding of finished parts to remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections. Handle and fabricate metal components as required for the production process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including CNC machines and surrounding workspace. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating CNC and fabrication equipment. Collaborate with team members and the shift supervisor to resolve basic production or quality issues. Essential Skills Hands‑on experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and production documentation. Practical experience with CNC machine operation, including loading and unloading parts. Skill in deburring, grinding, and sanding metal parts to meet quality standards. Familiarity with basic metal fabrication processes. Attention to detail when inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy. Ability to work safely with CNC equipment and metalworking tools. Dependability in following schedules and shift requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any education or certifications related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus. Experience with CNC laser equipment is an advantage. Background in metal fabrication or deburring metal components is beneficial. Comfort working as part of a small, close-knit production team.
