About the Position

Job Title: Scrub Tech Profession: Scrub Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: BLS, CST certification preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in General, GYN, Robot, Urology, Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho procedures. Description: Travel position for Scrub Tech in surgery. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Required on-call shifts are 3-4 per month. The unit has 14 beds and over 100 staff. Day shift staffing includes charge nurses, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters. The patient ratios in the unit are 1:1. The expected equipment includes operating room tools with EMR managed via EPIC. Candidates should be adaptable, good communicators, and hardworking. Preferred skills include Vascular and Cardiac experience. Typical procedures performed include General, GYN, Robot, Urology, Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho surgeries. Weekends may require additional call shifts.
