What You'll Do
- Perform portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) X-ray exams at various healthcare facilities and document findings for radiologist review
- Unload, transport, and set up portable X-ray equipment on-site
- Capture high-quality, diagnostically useful images according to physician orders
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to cardiologists for interpretation
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of X-ray equipment and vehicle
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, facility staff, and management
- Maintain detailed documentation of exams, billing, and related paperwork
What You Need
Required:- Valid state Radiologic Technologist License
- Proven experience performing diagnostic X-rays
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment (50-100 lbs) with assistance and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and professional interaction with clients and team
- Experience with portable digital imaging technology
- Familiarity with EKG procedures
- Previous mobile or healthcare facility imaging experience
About the Assignment This role involves providing mobile radiography services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various medical providers. You'll have autonomy in your daily routes, with the support of a dedicated team committed to your success.
