Office Manager

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking an Office and Lab Manager for a contract-to-hire position at a cutting-edge client in Thousand Oaks, CA. Pay: $40-45/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri Onsite

Overview
This client is an industry-leading company that's leading the way in regulated life sciences innovation. In this role, you will partner with the site leadership team and focus on delivering best-in-class office and lab operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily office operations including front desk coordination, office access, and onboarding logistics
• Manage vendor relationships related to janitorial, kitchen, office supplies, property management, and onsite maintenance support
• Maintain an organized, compliant, and audit-ready laboratory environment
• Act as primary liaison with lab management partners, service vendors, and property management
• Support laboratory supply management, deliveries, and equipment tracking
• Coordinate Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) activities, safety inspections, corrective actions, and EH&S documentation
• Support and reinforce office and lab policies, and assist the site leadership with change initiatives
• Assist with people management, including supporting staff and hosting visiting remote employees

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in office/site management in a regulated or scientific environment or lab operations, facilities, EH&S coordination
• Experience answering phones
• Demonstrated experience working with safety initiatives and managing multiple priorities independently
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Expertise working with external vendors and consultants
• Experience in event planning and team coordination
• Preferred: Experience in biotech/pharma/life sciences or technology, familiarity with Cal/OSHA and laboratory safety, experience with audits/inspections, prior responsibility for site or facility operations
