Join us and be part of a mission that matters.BENEFITS: (dependent on your work status)Competitive PayMedical, Dental and VisionHealth Savings AccountPaid Time OffPayActiv – On demand access to earned wagesRetirement match (up to 4%)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Complete initial and ongoing assessmentsHandle admission of residentsMedication Monitoring (including self-medicators and psychotropic medications) and health monitoring/screeningComplete and review progress notesUpdate individual service care plansArrange doctor appointments and setting up transportationComplete all nursing proceduresSchedule and supervise all staff in absence of directorMonitor TB tests for residents and staffBe prepared to work the floor if neededUse the appropriate lift per residents' care plansPerform additional duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Lift/carry up to 25 pounds occasionallyPush/pull medication carts up to 300 pounds occasionallyTwist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, walk, and sit frequentlyAble to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, families, and the publicOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or valid Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenseThree to five years nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years in long term careMust possess leadership qualities and excellent communication skillsSupervisory experience preferredBSN preferredFollow/adhere to organization, federal/state regulations and guidelines, including resident/client rights, standard precautions, fire safety, and first aid
