Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Glenview, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/13/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) position available in the healthcare industry. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill cardiac patients in a cardiovascular-focused intensive care unit, with a focus on advanced cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and post-surgical support. Job Details Position Description: Subcontractor Note: Start Date: ASAP. Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Experience Requirements: 3 years CV ICU. Will need to pass an EKG test. Holidays are observed on Memorial Day, and every other weekend is scheduled. Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and Epic experience. Minimum of 3 years of CV ICU experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and advanced cardiac devices such as Impella, LVAD/RVAD, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump. Skills in CVA/Acute Stroke Management, ventilator care, and infection prevention are highly desirable. Additional Information: May float to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU, or Highland Park ICU if needed. Submission requirements include an updated resume, CV ICU skills checklist within the last year, supervisor reference from within the last year, passing EKG test score of 80% or above, and verification of IL licensure.
