This role ensures guests receive exceptional service while maintaining banquet standards and cleanliness throughout the event.Key Responsibilities:Greet guests in a professional and friendly mannerSet up banquet rooms and tables according to banquet event orders (BEOs)Serve food and beverages during events in a timely, courteous, and efficient mannerClear tables, remove service items, and reset rooms as needed throughout the eventMaintain cleanliness and organization of all service areasAssist with the setup and breakdown of buffets, food stations, and bar areasCommunicate effectively with kitchen and banquet team for smooth service flowFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesEnsure proper handling of all hotel equipment and report any maintenance issuesRespond to guest needs and requests promptly and professionallyWork collaboratively with the Banquet Captain and other servers to execute event plansQualificationsQualifications:Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferredExcellent communication and guest service skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsMust be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBasic knowledge of food and beverage service techniquesAbility to follow directions and work as part of a teamTIPS or alcohol service certification preferred (based on location requirements)Working Conditions:Fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFrequent movement, lifting, and interaction with guestsEvents may require long shifts, including late-night breakdownsExposure to hot trays, cleaning chemicals, and loud environmentsWho are we looking for?Are you someone who values teamwork, takes ownership of your role, and is passionate about serving our guests with warmth and hospitality?
