Job: Data Governance Analyst (CDC Funded)

\n

Location : 1220 Bank St. Richmond, VA 23219

\n

\n

Onsite: Two (2) days per week

\n

\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Demonstrated experience in senior-level business analysis, requirements elicitation, process improvement, and complex problem-solving.
\n
• Advanced facilitation skills, including leading cross-functional working sessions, navigating competing priorities, building consensus, and driving decisions to resolution.
\n
• Proven ability to analyze, design, document, and implement sustainable business processes.
\n
• Ability to interpret policies, standards, and business requirements and translate them into practical operational processes and controls.
\n
• Working knowledge of enterprise data governance, including data ownership, stewardship, access governance, data quality, compliance, and lifecycle management.
\n
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Five or more years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, data governance, or enterprise data management.
\n
• Experience in government, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
\n
• Familiarity with enterprise data integration, interoperability, master and reference data management, and data products.
\n
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM) and process improvement methodologies (BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).
\n
• Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, Commonwealth of Virginia/VITA standards, or relevant professional certifications such as CDMP.
\n

\n

Education: A bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience and relevant certifications may be considered.

Data Analysis. - Required 10 Years

Experience with Data Lineage / Cataloging. - Required 10 Years

\n

Data Policy /Procedure creation. - Required 10 Years

\n

Proficiency with SQL. - Required 10 Years

\n

Datawarehouse Experience. - Required 10 Years

\n

Requirements Elicitation. - Required 10 Years

Experience with Databases(Relational databases, SQL Server, Oracle , Snowflake etc). - Required 7 Years
