Operating Room RNFA – Robotics

Hiring an Operating Room RN First Assistant (RNFA) to work in a hospital setting in Rochester, NY.

• Contract: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week

• Shift: Monday–Friday Day Shifts

• On Call: Evening call responsibilities per unit need (until 11:00 PM only)

• Weekend Requirement: None | Rotating holidays per unit need

• Setting: Main Operating Room – DaVinci Robotics

• Requirements:
  Active New York RN License (NY License ONLY)
  CNOR Certification required
  Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program
  Minimum 2 years of OR experience (Level 1 trauma preferred)
  DaVinci Robotic experience required:
  Robotic Urology
  Robotic GYN
  Robotic Colorectal
  Robotic Surgical Oncology
  Robotic Thoracic
  Robotic General Surgery
  BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
  ACLS preferred (American Heart Association ONLY)

• Responsibilities:
  Collaborate with surgeon and surgical team to ensure safe operative outcomes
  Perform RNFA duties during operative phase
  Scrub and circulate as needed when not functioning in RNFA role
  Maintain perioperative nursing standards and best practices
  Support robotic-assisted surgical procedures
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

• Compensation (Based on 36 hours/week):

  Local Weekly: $2,880
  Estimated Travel Package: $3,360

Note: Per diem rates follow GSA Guidelines for New York to maintain compliance.
