TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 Years of Experience Required License: Current RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Strongly Preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital - EPIC charting experience required - Must float within the required scope to meet facility needs - Previous charge experience preferred - Recent Level 1 trauma work history needed Description: This position offers both 36 and 48-hour options. The contract can be for 13 or 26 weeks. Travelers are prioritized for floating to meet staffing needs. Travelers should expect frequent assignments across different units. If preferred units are a consideration, travelers must communicate this during submission. Floating may take place within the facility or to nearby campuses. Units include various medical-surgical, telemetry, and specialty care options. Care teams include CNAs, care techs, and other support roles. The facility maintains a strict nicotine-free policy. Weekend work includes 4 weekend shifts in an 8-week period, dynamically scheduled. Holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, with requirements for holiday work. Requests for time off must be included with the application. Medical or religious exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine may be considered. Additional requests for time off will be managed at the manager's discretion. Candidates must have recent experience within the last year. All contracts conclude on Sunday, and the work week operates Monday through Sunday. Only travelers residing more than 100 miles from the facility are accepted. No first-time travelers will be accepted. Candidates must meet specific EPIC experience requirements. Completion of required labs is necessary within a defined timeframe. The facility strictly prohibits nicotine use.
