Education Specialist

American Public Works Association (APWA) serves professionals in all aspects of public works by providing innovative education and credentialing opportunities for professional development. As the primary point of contact for the association's certificate programs and workshops, the Education Specialist will work with many stakeholders to develop and deliver programs to members. About the Education Specialist Role The Education Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for the association's certificate programs and workshops. They work with Subject Matter Experts to develop, design, update, and deliver engaging educational programs. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for certificate programs and workshops. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop, design, update, and deliver engaging educational programs. Manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently. Effectively utilize various technology tools. Provide excellent customer/member service. Qualifications Associate's degree required. Three years of experience in continuing adult education. Customer/member service oriented. Excellent technology and communication skills. Comfortable with writing and presenting. Association experience is a plus.
