Compensation Range: $48,300 - $60,200 (Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.) ABSL is seeking a full time Quality Technician to perform inspections on manufacturing and test processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reports to Quality Technician Supervisor Performs quality control inspection of hardware to aerospace standards, drawings and work instructions. Performs QMS systems checks to ensure compliance with documented facility procedures Performs peer checks for manufacturing and test technicians. Performs material kit checks to verify correct materials and material traceability Ensures all build and test documentation is completed correctly. Ensures all necessary paperwork and processes are completed following a non-conformance incident to allow build to continue. Performs incoming inspection of all purchased parts and associated paperwork. Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager or Quality Inspection Supervisor Qualifications High School Diploma w/ 0-2 years’ experience as quality inspector/technician in high-reliability company, preferably in the aerospace or medical industry OR associates degree w/ no experience Ability to work in a team atmosphere as a contributing member Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in accordance with OSHA requirements Attention to detail and ability interpret engineering drawings and procedures. Able to occasionally travel to support off-site processes. Ability and experience utilizing magnification aids to perform inspection tasks. Have the ability to obtain the following industry certifications in soldering, harnessing, and polymerics through company sponsored, off-site training (including vision far, near, and color testing to NASA 8739 series requirements):
