Scheduler/Front Desk

The Arbors of Shelburne is looking for an individual to be our Scheduler for our care department staff (nurses and nurses' aides). Will also cover the front reception desk as needed.

This is a full time, benefits eligible position, 11 am to 7 pm, with an every other weekend requirement.

Must have a working knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Will train the right person on the use of our scheduling software.

Strong customer service skills are also a necessity as the Administrative Assistant will be communicating with residents and family members.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling
• Answering calls and taking messages from residents and resident families
• Interacting with other departments
• Providing general office support
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience providing Administrative Support desired
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Proficient time management skills. Detail oriented.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English; write routine reports and correspondence; read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating, especially by phone, with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
• Proficient Computer Skills; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Prior experience with a fleet
  management system desirable, but not required.
