Position: Diagnostic Technologist - Outpatient

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist to join our outpatient team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality imaging services and basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.

Shift Details

• Type: 12-hour day shift
• Start Time: 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Position patients for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle x-rays.
• Perform imaging procedures independently and operate x-ray equipment.
• Process images and document findings into the PACS system.
• Provide basic patient care, including obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinicians as needed.
• Maintain an orderly and stocked examination area with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Float to main radiology as necessary to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
• Current CPR Certification.
• California issued Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Current ARRT licensure.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
