This Dallas opportunity is suited to a mid-level associate who wants hands-on responsibility across M&A, private equity, venture capital, securities and general corporate matters. The successful candidate will be a key deal-team member, drafting and negotiating complex documents and running major aspects of transactions from diligence through closing. The Role The successful attorney will support and lead key components of Dallas - Corporate M&A Associate (Mid-Level) matters, including: Represent public and private clients in M&A and private equity transactions. Draft and negotiate acquisition, equity and related investment agreements. Produce client-ready transaction documents. Run key aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing. Support venture capital, securities offering, securities compliance and general corporate matters. Coordinate effectively with clients, specialists and broader deal teams. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a candidate with: Three to five years of relevant corporate transactional experience. Experience representing public and private clients in M&A and private equity matters. Hands-on drafting and negotiation experience for complex transactions and investment agreements. Experience serving as a key deal-team member and running transaction workstreams. Active membership in the Texas Bar. JD required; ideally attained from a T25 law school. Candidates from a T50 law school will also be considered where they achieved honors. Preferred / advantageous: Experience spanning venture capital, securities offerings, securities compliance and general corporate matters is advantageous.
