Clinical Site Manager

Clinical Research Site Manager | South Florida

An established, founder-owned clinical research organisation with 20 years of organic growth is looking for a hands-on site leader to run a busy site in South Florida. You’ll lead a large team, 16-18 active trials at a time, and a growing neuroscience and psychedelic research programme.

The role

You’ll own the day-to-day performance of the site: strategy and operations, and the occasional shift on the floor. You’ll be a leader who sets direction and also steps in as backup when the team is busy. You’ll report into Clinical Operations and the Medical Director.

What you’ll do

• Lead site operations across Phase I-IV trials: recruitment, screening, enrollment, retention, visit completion and data quality
• Manage and develop CRCs, Lead CRCs, regulatory coordinators, recruitment staff and research assistants through coaching, training and performance reviews
• Act as Study Project Manager on high-priority trials, from startup through closeout
• Track KPIs, spot barriers early and drive CAPAs and workflow improvements
• Keep the site inspection-ready and compliant with FDA, ICH-GCP, HIPAA and ALCOA+ standards, working closely with the Regulatory and Compliance team
• Be a primary contact for sponsors and CROs
• Work with Finance and leadership on staffing, budgets and site profitability
• Support site growth and develop the next generation of operational leaders

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in clinical research, including 4+ years in leadership or management
• Experience running a clinical research site with multiple Phase I-IV trials, and managing a team of 30+
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA regulations and HIPAA, and of CAPA, auditing and quality management
• Proficiency with CTMS, EDC and eRegulatory systems
• A hands-on, collaborative leadership style, a data-driven mindset and strong communication
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)

Nice to have

• Experience in CNS, neuroscience, psychiatric or psychedelic research
• CCRC or CCRP certification
