Industrial Engineer II / Manufacturing Project Manager Location: El Paso, TX (Preferred) | Mt. Juliet, TN (Considered) Duration: 3-month contract (likely extensions) Work Mode: Onsite / Hybrid (50-75% onsite) Pay Rate: $45.27/hr Contract Duration: Initial 3-month contract Possibility of extension depending on business needs Historically, these roles have been extended every 90 days. Required Qualifications Manufacturing or Supply Chain Project Management experience (not IT PM). Industrial Engineering background preferred. Experience managing multi-site manufacturing projects, process changes, plant setup, material changes, and production line modifications. Knowledge of QVE (Quality Value Engineering) or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Strong project management skills in manufacturing environments. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be local to El Paso or Mt. Juliet and able to travel to the site at least 2 days per week. Additional Details 40-hour work week. Travel may be required across North America. Experience managing multiple plants and suppliers is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing and supply chain projects involving supplier changes, outsourcing, capacity expansion, tooling implementation, and part qualification. Manage projects across multiple plants in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and service across manufacturing processes (stamping, sheet metal, bus bars, plastics, die casting). Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, conduct site visits, and track project progress. Maintain project documentation and updates in JIRA, i-Project, i-Save, and stage-gate reviews. Provide weekly status reports and leadership updates.
