Sales Associates will engage customers and offer products perfectly-suited to their needs. Beyond just selling gear, you'll be helping people to truly enjoy their time outdoors and become lifelong outdoor enthusiasts.There are excellent opportunities as well for hard-working, sharp employees to move up in the company. As a matter of fact, almost 40% of our employees have been with us over 5 years.We are looking for seasonal part-time employees.Responsibilities:Greet customers in the store in a warm and welcoming mannerHelp customers find products that best fit their needsMeet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goalsBuild loyal customer relationships by providing the highest standard of serviceMaintain visual appearance of store and assist in replenishing stockRing up sales and return transactionsStay informed on latest gear and trendsSkier and/or snowboarder experience is a plusKnowledgeable and experienced with ski and/or snowboard equipment and clothingMust be able to work weekendsSelf-motivated and driven to improveComfortable in a fast-paced retail environmentAble to work weekends and eveningsPeople-oriented; friendly; a good listenerSupportive as a team memberStrong communicator who can ascertain customer needs and recommend appropriate productsAble to communicate effectively in English; ability to speak other languages a plusThis job requires walking, standing, bending, lifting, squatting, pushing, able to lift up to 20-25 lbs., and other physical demandsPrevious retail or customer service experience a plusEducation:High School Diploma or GEDBenefits:Benefits include a fun team environment, competitive pay, and 401K.
