Our client, an industry leader in steel building solutions, is seeking a talented CAD Drafter for a 6-month contract-to-hire role offering long-term growth. To succeed, you must hold an associate or 2-year technical degree in a CAD discipline and possess 1-2 years of experience with blueprints and steel calculations. responsibilities:
- Detail building components and generate fabrication drawings using engineering designs and project specifications.
- Create accurate erection, approval, permit, and anchor rod drawings for steel construction projects.
- Perform necessary mathematical calculations, including algebra and trigonometry, to ensure detailing accuracy.
- Upload and manage part data within the manufacturing system to facilitate seamless releases to production.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure cost-effective engineering solutions.
