Minimum Education and Experience Requirements A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field, with at least 18 credit hours of computer science courses at the graduate level Record of excellence in teaching, research, and service commensurate with the rank of tenure‑track Assistant Professor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of core computer science disciplines such as algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and computer systems. Skill in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate computer science courses using effective instructional methods and technology-enhanced learning tools. Ability to conduct scholarly research, publish in peer-reviewed venues, and pursue external funding opportunities. Skill in mentoring and advising students, including supervising research projects, internships, or capstone work. Ability to collaborate with faculty and contribute to departmental, college, and university service activities.
