Leasing Specialist

As a key driver of our community's success, the Leasing Specialist delivers a "WOW" experience to prospective and current residents alike. Core responsibilities include guiding apartment and property tours, promoting our premium rental residences, managing prospective leads, and boosting occupancy. In this guest- and resident-facing role, we are seeking an engaging, self-motivated professional with demonstrated experience in leasing, sales, or a related industry. This is a forward facing role that will interact with both residents and guests. The right candidate will be a motivated and outgoing professional with a proven track record in leasing, sales or other related field.

About this opportunity: 

• Location: Dream Little Rock, 1502 Green Mountain Dr, Little Rock, AR 72211
• Compensation: $18.00-$23.00 per hour plus above market commission and monthly incentive opportunities
• Position type: Full-time 

What we are looking for in a Leasing Specialist Candidate:

• A strong background in multiple years of multifamily property management is required
• Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong outreach and social media marketing background
• Experience conducting accurate market surveys by conducting in-person shops on a regular basis
• A sense of empowerment, accountability, and success at achieving goals, driving performance, and developing team members
• Appfolio, G-suite, and Microsoft Office experience is a plus
• Organizing and coordinating resident events monthly

What you will do as a Leasing Specialist:

• Respond to all leads within 4 hours and manage the full lead-to-lease process
• Prospect weekly and build relationships with local businesses for cross-promotion
• Network with major employers, universities, and hospitals to generate traffic
• Conduct leasing tours using DLP’s Standards of Excellence and close with confidence
• Assist prospects in applying using online tools and proven closing techniques
• Create and lead resident programs to enhance the living experience
• Build relationships with current and past residents to drive referrals
• Regularly walk and inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and functionality
• Maintain accurate CRM records, guest cards, follow-ups, and lease paperwork
• Communicate consistently with the Community Manager, leadership, and teammates
• Attend all required meetings and trainings; manage goals and time effectively
