We are looking for experienced Emergency Vehicle Technicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnoses and repairs various truck systems using electronic diagnostic tools and laptop computers. Be proficient with any hand tools needed to diagnose trucks. Ensures repairs are completed in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions and are done accurately. Maintains correct time‑clock punches and work order processes. Maintains efficiency standards and attendance policy as required. Stays up to date on all assigned OEM training. Tags parts as required and follows all warranty procedures set by each OEM. Completes repairs by OEM SRT standards. CDL‑certified drivers test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions and to ensure they remain in proper working order. Inspects, tests, and listens to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Keeps work area clean and free of debris. Keeps customer vehicles clean during the repair process and after completion of repairs. Performs road calls as needed. Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One‑year certificate from a fully accredited college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is acceptable. Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. Basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office; experience with CDK a plus. Emergency Vehicle Experience preferred. A professional set of tools is required. Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting heavy objects up to 70 lbs.
