A well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation organization in the Pittsburgh area is seeking an experienced, motivated Marketing / Clinical Liaison to join its team.

This is a relationship-driven position focused on developing referral relationships, increasing admissions, and serving as a key connection between the facility and hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, senior living communities, and other healthcare partners.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate is an energetic healthcare professional who enjoys being in the community, building relationships, and creating opportunities for patients to receive the appropriate post-acute care.

You will work closely with the facility's clinical teams to identify appropriate referrals, facilitate smooth transitions, and strengthen the facility's presence within the Pittsburgh healthcare community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, assisted living communities, home health agencies, and other referral sources.

• Conduct regular hospital, physician-office, community, and referral-source visits.

• Generate and cultivate new referral opportunities while maintaining existing relationships.

• Follow up on referrals and assist with the admissions process.

• Review referral information and communicate effectively with the clinical and admissions teams regarding patient needs.

• Educate referral partners regarding the facility's clinical capabilities, rehabilitation services, specialties, and programs.

• Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, admissions, and administration to support successful transitions of care.

• Monitor referral activity and identify opportunities to increase admissions and census.

• Represent the facility at healthcare networking events, community events, educational programs, and professional meetings.

• Maintain accurate documentation of marketing activities, referral relationships, and territory development.

• Help develop and execute creative marketing and community outreach initiatives.

• Maintain a professional, visible presence throughout the assigned Pittsburgh-area territory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare marketing, business development, clinical liaison work, admissions, or a related healthcare field preferred.

• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute, home health, hospice, or hospital experience strongly preferred.

• Understanding of hospital discharge planning and the post-acute referral process.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and other healthcare payer considerations is a plus.

• Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to confidently interact with physicians, nurses, social workers, case managers, administrators, patients, and families.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple referral relationships and priorities.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
