Steingold’s Bakehouse is hiring an Overnight Baker / Cook to join our growing production team.
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of professional kitchen experience . Bakery experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and excited to learn. You will learn how to boil, bake and seed our bagels.
This position is based out of Steingold’s Bakehouse , our dedicated production facility where we make Chicago’s best bagels, challah, and both classic and innovative pastries . Our bakehouse supports our popular Lakeview delis as well as a fast-growing roster of wholesale clients, with additional restaurant projects underway.

Overnight shift, typically 11pm/12am - 6am/7am
Weekend availability is required - MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Requirements
Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
Responsible, dependable, and punctual
