This is a remote position.

The Health Coach supports individuals and communities in improving their overall health and well-being through health education, wellness guidance, and healthy lifestyle promotion. This position encourages preventive care, physical activity, balanced nutrition, stress management, and positive health habits. The Health Coach may collaborate with community organizations, healthcare professionals, and local partners to coordinate wellness activities and health awareness initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide general health education and wellness guidance to community members.
  
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices, including balanced nutrition, physical activity, and stress management.
  
• Help individuals identify realistic health and wellness goals.
  
• Organize health awareness workshops, wellness events, and community outreach activities.
  
• Share information about preventive screenings and available healthcare resources.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health promotion, wellness, nutrition, or a related field is beneficial.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  
• Interest in health education, preventive wellness, and community service.
  
• Ability to motivate and encourage individuals to pursue realistic health goals.
  
• Previous experience in wellness, coaching, health education, or community outreach is preferred.
  
• Relevant health coaching certification may be preferred, depending on the employer and responsibilities.
