Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care across the endoscopy/acute care pathway, supporting pre-op, intra-op, and post-op processes as assigned
- Assess patient and family needs, develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and adjust care as conditions change
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and respond to emergencies with professional clinical judgment
- Promote infection prevention, safe procedures, and patient safety while ensuring documentation is accurate and timely
- Educate patients and families to support self-care after discharge and coordinate ongoing care with the care team

Requirements
- NYS Registered Nurse licensure with active status
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy/endoscopy-related RN experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity acute care environment and participate in a call/rotation schedule as described

Education
- Current NYS RN licensure required
