Pharmacist – Rapid Response (Day Shift)

Contract | 6-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day and Evening Shifts | Weekends Required | No Overnight Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Refill Pyxis machines and fill first-dose medications in a decentralized pharmacist model
• Perform IV sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding
• Package unit-dose (UD) medications and refill code blue trays
• Document and manage medication activities using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Answer phones and provide support within the pharmacy department
• Collaborate with a technician team across day, mid, and evening shifts in a 285-bed facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri (MO) Pharmacist License in good standing — must be obtained prior to submission
• Ability to work a combination of day and evening shifts, including weekends
• Expected 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the assignment
• No on-call or float requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Pyxis ES automated dispensing system
• Experience with Dose Edge pharmacy workflow software
• Prior experience in a hospital or acute care pharmacy setting
