Patient Access Representative

We are seeking Patient Access Representatives responsible for managing all aspects of patient registration, including verifying identity, reviewing schedules, scanning documents, and entering demographic and insurance data into the electronic health record. They explain and complete regulatory and compliance forms, ensure privacy standards are met, and handle payments such as co-payments and deposits securely. The role involves greeting patients and families, answering questions, and coordinating patient flow to the correct service areas. Additional duties may include scheduling, pre-admission, discharge, and providing updates to families in waiting rooms. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (required); relevant college experience considered in lieu of experience Minimum 2 years of customer service or data entry experience (required) Proficiency in computer keyboarding (required) Knowledge of third-party payers, ICD-9/CPT coding, and medical terminology (preferred) Strong interpersonal skills and attention to proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation Skills & Training: Extensive training is provided for entry-level candidates, with opportunities for advancement.
