Job Summary:
A registered nurse position in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) department is available in Austin, Texas. This role involves working in a high-volume delivery service within a Level IV maternal designation facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a day shift schedule and requires a minimum of 36 hours per week starting July 19, 2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Unit Description: A Level IV Maternal Designation facility comprising 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 Triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. The facility provides academic teaching services as well as large private obstetric practices. It performs over 500 deliveries per month, with 24-hour in-house OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage. The unit is expanding to a new Womens Tower in mid-2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Advanced Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Education required is an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a valid Texas Registered Nurse license. At least 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service is required.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be prepared to work in a high-risk, fast-paced environment, delivering comprehensive maternal care in a busy obstetric setting.
