Job Description Under the supervision of the Butler Medical Transport Leadership team, the Paramedic plays a critical role within the Butler team, delivering high-quality medical care during both emergent and non-emergent interfacility transports. This role involves patient assessment, advanced life support administration, and safe, timely transport to medical facilities for further treatment. As a Paramedic, you will be a vital link in the healthcare continuum, providing essential care that directly impacts patient outcomes. This role requires a blend of technical skill, quick decision-making, and strong interpersonal abilities. Role and Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, advanced life support care during interfacility transports in compliance with Butler Medical Transport, State, and DOH protocols. Provide leadership and mentorship to EMT crew members. Communicate effectively with patients, dispatch, family members, and facility staff. Operate communication devices, cell phones, and computer tablets. Complete accurate patient care reports prior to shift completion. Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness and cleanliness. Maintain current certifications with timely completion of refresher courses and CMEs.
