Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities include responding to emergency codes, documenting in EMR, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role may involve serving as a Lead RCP during shifts. Qualifications include a valid State RCP license, RRT certification from NBRC, current BCLS and ACLS certifications, with NRP and PALS preferred. Requires at least a high school diploma, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, and two years of experience as an RCP is advantageous. Key skills involve clinical assessment, ventilator management, pulmonary diagnostics, documentation, and teamwork.
