Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:07 AMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by site. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities. Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
